Greetings from Nashville, y’all!
My name is Lauren, and I’m the owner and dyer behind Old Rusted Chair hand dyed yarns. I’m new to Indie Untangled, and am very excited to be a part of this community. I started knitting in 2007, and haven’t stopped. My love for dyeing came about when I needed a blank canvas for all of the color combinations in my brain. When I’m not knitting or dyeing I’m usually training on aerial silks and trapeze. I love being in the air almost as much as I love making beautiful yarn.
My current dyeing addiction is semi solid and tonal colorways. I recently posted some new sock sets to my shop, and I’m very excited about them! These sets are on my sock base, which is 80% sw merino / 20% nylon, and include a 100g skein of speckles plus a 20g mini skein of a complementary tonal color.
