Marshwood

I’ve just released Marshwood, a lovely two-skein shawl in Bare Naked Wools Confection Sport. The pattern is available on Ravelry, and Bare Naked Wools will be offering a kit including the yarn and pattern on their website later this week. I can’t tell you how excited I am about this! If you already have some Confection in your stash and just need the pattern, use coupon code BNW for $1 off through 5/11 in my Ravelry pattern shop.

I’ve also updated my Etsy shop with some new bags, a…n…d I’m introducing my new gradient yarns that I dyed. They are available in a sock kit that includes two center pull balls of dyed-to-match sock yarn, a sock-sized bag and your choice of any one of my sock patterns. Single skeins for shawl, scarf or cowl knitting are available separately. Use code freeshipping for US orders, good through 5/11. I’m so sorry that I can’t offer this on international orders. If you would like a quote to ship outside of the US, please convo me — I don’t mark the shipping up from what I am charged.

Here is a bit about the yarn: It’s a lovely base of 440 yards of superwash Merino blended with 25% nylon in a three-ply fingering weight. Each skein is dyed individually by hand using colorfast acid dyes. The skeins are wound into center pull balls and are ready for you to knit from. You can choose to knit from the center or the outside depending on how you want your item to look — darker to lighter or lighter to dark! This yarn pairs well with any of my shawl patterns and would also look wonderful knit up as a cowl or scarf. The long color repeats blend from one color to the next.
