With all the gorgeous, non-repeatable colorways popping up among the indie dyers, I couldn’t resist a design that celebrates these unique skeins. Singular Sensation is a simple, top down, cresent-shaped shawl consisting of garter stitch and a simple star stitch. Instructions are given for easily adjusting the pattern according to yardage and yarn weight.
Yarn: 400 yds of fingering weight or 540 yds of worsted weight (however, the shawl can be adjusted for varying weights)
Gauge: 28 sts x 48 rows = 4″ on US 5 in garter stitch using fingering weight
24 sts x 32 rows = 4″ on US 6 in garter stitch using worsted weight
Sizes: 17″ at deepest point by 56″ along neckline in fingering weight
21″ at deepest point by 66″ along neckline in worsted weight
