Stranded colorwork on the cuff gives the illusion of waves cresting above schools of sharks swimming through blood speckled waters.
If you are new to colorwork, this is a great pattern to cut your teeth on. The shark fins are simple to work and are only a few rows each.
The heel is worked in the round and turned with a minimum amount of short rows. Once the short rows are finished you are back to the amount of stitches that you started with and can continue knitting the foot. That’s right, no picking up stitches or heel flap!
