It’s been a good long while since I was able to add something new to the shop. Spring is always hectic enough with getting the garden started, shearing, and lambing, but this year we’ve been additionally overwhelmed with the building of a barn by ourselves without a contractor. So, I’ve been a wee bit behind lately. However, new to the shop this week are some pretty great project bags in a variety of patterns, all with square bottoms and durable, detachable handles.
This new project bag is the largest that I make, coming in at 10.5 inches x 12.5 inches with a 4-inch square bottom. The zippers are plastic and are not inclined to snag your yarn or your project. The cool thing about these, though, is the handle. I’m not a big “bag with handles” kind of person, and maybe some of you aren’t either, so I made my handle completely detachable. The swivel latch gives your the option or handle or no handle, making it great for any occasion. As well, the D-ring on the side of the bag makes for an excellent means of hanging your bag on a hook in a closet or your very organized craft room.
