Final Update – Part 1

I am dividing up my final update into two parts. The first part will be this Friday, February 17th @ 11am CST. This update will be about half of my remaining inventory and will include MCN Worsted, Uptown Sock, Warehouse Sock, a couple of skeins of Angora Lace, and a new base from John Arbon called Polwarth and Silk. Polwarth and Silk is a 2ply fingering weight yarn that is comprised of 80% Polwarth and 20% Silk. It is 437yds (400m) at 100g and will sell for $28. This base has the rustic feel of the Polwarth sheep and the silk adds this lovely sheen. The springiness and drape play lovely with each other. I have knitted Arabella from Brooklyn Tweed in this and love it 🙂

I’ll just add this at the end, that the last update will be made up of MCN Worsted, Silky DK, MCN Sport, the last half of Polwarth and Silk. This will be announced at a later date!

I also want to thank everyone of you who have supported me and other Indie dyers 🙂 YOU are the reason we get to do what we love! I will be seeing you guys on Rav 😉

Shop Update!!

The update will be on Friday, September 4th @ 1pm CST.

In this update, we’re welcoming a new addition to the krewe with Merino Cashmere Fingering!! With 80% Merino and 20% Cashmere, this yummy yarn is perfect for that special project in mind. It’s super cushy, soft, and light. It’s been a delight to dye this up, and I’m looking forward to dyeing up more 🙂

Also in the update will be Silky DK and a bit of Uptown Lace. See you there!

The Market Reopens

After being closed for nearly a year and a half, I’m happy to say the shop has reopened. During this time, I had my daughter and have become a stay-at-home mom. This has taken up most, if not all, of my time. However, as time has started to become intermittently available, I have been able to start doing what I love, dyeing yarn. 🙂

As of right now, there are no plans for large shop updates, but I do have pop-ups of onesies and twosies here and there, so be on the lookout!
