Trunk show volunteering

Taping spaces: Help mark 8x8 and 16x16 vendor spaces with tape based on the venue map. 3 volunteers needed for one 9 a.m.-11 a.m. shift

Set-up: Be on hand to help vendors with set-up and act as a liaison between vendors and hotel staff. 4 volunteers needed for two shifts, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.

VIP check-in: Starting at 3 p.m., direct VIPs to line up in the bar area, check their names off the list and hand out swag bags. Also check in VIPs who arrive at 4 p.m. or later. (Note: This conflicts with the volunteer shopping, but you should be able to shop during the VIP hour if you work out an arrangement with your co-volunteers) 3 volunteers needed for one 3 p.m.-5 p.m. shift

Programs: Hand out programs to people coming into the room and/or while they're waiting in the corridor before general shopping starts at 5 p.m. Also help to manage the line of people waiting to come in at 5. 4 volunteers needed for two shifts, 4 p.m.-6 p.m. and 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

Vendor help: Each volunteer will be assigned to 4 vendors, acting as their point person if they have questions or need help during the show. 6 volunteers needed for two shifts, 4 p.m.-6 p.m. and 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

Line monitors: Manage any lines to popular vendors and make sure they are not blocking other booths. 4 volunteers needed for two shifts, 4 p.m.-6 p.m. and 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

Raffles: Sell raffle tickets while people are waiting on line to come in and/or at the raffle tables. Answer questions about the raffles and help with the raffle drawings, retrieving the prize for that hour's drawing and giving the prize to the winners. 1 volunteer needed for two shifts, 4 p.m.-6 p.m. and 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
