Best of the Worsted!

We love all our yarn. But that doesn’t stop us from having current favorites.

Right now, that’s our worsted-weight yarn. And not just any worsted-weight yarn, but our softer stuff. It’s great for crafting last minute gifts, with the thicker yarn weight working up relatively quickly. But it feels so nice you might find yourself wanting to work up a whole sweater.

Like all of our yarn, our current faves are made from blends of undyed, naturally-colored fiber. They don’t contain dyes or synthetics.

On to the yarn! Our “Best of the Worsted” list is:

Ultisol – A dynamic auburn brown yarn with a great squish. Made from a blend of cinnamon red alpaca fleece and dark Zwartbles sheep wool.

Terra Preta – A deep soil brown. Made from a tri-blend of dark Shetland wool, Jacob wool, and alpaca fleece.

Aswan – A natural red with heathered gray. Made from a blend of gray Jacob sheep wool and cinnamon red alpaca fleece.

Cirrus – Technically not a yarn. But this stormy gray pencil roving doesn’t care. Knit or crochet with it to create a soft and lofty fabrics. A strand is delicate on its own, but strong knitted up together. Made from a blend of white Shetland wool and gray Jacob sheep wool.
