We have been very busy over the last few months at ECY Shedquarters. The culmination of this hard work has been the release of two new patterns for sale on our website and on Ravelry.
First up is the Laverton shawl. This sumptuously soft shawl is a delight to knit, pairing three of our favourite yarns to create a beautiful wearable piece. The delightful halo of Eldwick lace adds a touch of luxury to this pretty accessory and the splash of Nateby adds the perfect amount of sparkle. The third yarn used in the shawl is Carlisle Fingering, although any of our 4ply/fingering weight yarns would be suitable. We have put together some suggested colour combinations for this shawl which you will find on the home page of our website.
The second pattern release is the Gatekeeper cowl. This is a simple, quick-knit cowl designed to make the most of a single skein of Pendle Aran. It uses a combination of 2×2 rib and an easy to memorise lace pattern. We have a lovely selection of colourways across our two aran weight yarns, Pendle Aran and Bowland Aran, with something for every taste. Just head to the Aran yarn section of the website to see them all.
After all this we are in need of a break and so are treating ourselves to a week’s holiday from Saturday 17th-Sunday 25th November. Orders can still be placed on the website but will not be processed until after our return on Monday 27th November. Responses to emails will also be delayed during this time. 20% of the value of orders placed during this week will be donated to a charity close to our hearts.
Did you know that we ship worldwide? Full details can be found on the Shipping Info page of our website.
