Rockhound

I have to admit I have a weakness for gradient sets that are made up of multiple colors instead of shades of one color (although I like those too, maybe it’s just that the little skeins look so cute when they’re lined up?)

Rockhound is a top-down crescent that begins with a garter tab cast on. Increases are worked on both right side and wrong side rows. The stitch patterning uses crossed slip stitches. The result is a shawl that is cozy and easy to wear.

The shawl uses approximately 400 yds of fingering weight yarn and a set of six gradient or mini skeins (110 yds minimum/each skein)

Finished Measurements (after blocking): 68”/173 cm in length by 15″/46 cm deep, after blocking
