Porterness Studio is excited to announce… We are going to Stitches in Pasadena CA, Nov. 1-4, 2018!

We’ll be sharing a booth with Gather DTLA Yarn Store who will be carrying Stravaigin Yarn Co., naturally-dyed yarns from Canada, for the first time in the U.S. and not yet available online.

About Stravaigin Yarn Co.
Stravaigin Yarn Co. is a natural dye studio specializing in locally-grown and wild harvested dye plants. We work with the finest yarns sourced from small Canadian farms focusing on ecology and sustainability. We are dedicated to creating conscious colour and providing small batch unique yarns to inspire your creative projects.

Gather DTLA will carrying solid and variegated colorways from avocados, smokebush, marigolds, tansy and indigo. Bases include a Cheviot/Suffolk blend, Merino wool and wool/nylon 5% at Stitches SoCal in November.

This month we are offering a new line of Open Stockinette Stitch Motif Earrings and Necklaces in two lengths, the Porterness Demi-Sec Shawl Pin and the 7 Sided Stitch Marker Necklace in sterling silver. We also have a few “There Will Be Cake” pins in our shop for yarn project bags which are now exclusively being carried at Loop in London for those of you in the UK.
