When Hobbies Collide

Have you ever matched your knitting to a project bag? Have you ever bought yarn based on your favorite movie or holiday? Ever posted a picture on instagram of your coordinating mug, tea, yarn and book? I feel you! We crafters love a good crossover, right? Well, for all you crafters that, like me, are also avid readers I am thrilled to announce the pre-order for my limited-edition colorway inspired by Jodi Picoult’s latest novel “Spark of Light.” (Full disclosure: Jodi is my sister-in-law and graciously allows me to turn her books into yarn.) Last year I released a limited-edition colorway for the debut of her musical “Between the Lines,” and you may not know that my popular Storyteller colorway is based on her novel of the same name.

Pre-Orders for the “Spark of Light” colorway will go live on my website at 10am EDT on Saturday, 8/25 and will remain open until Monday 8/27 at 10am EDT or until they sell out. You will be able to choose either my Fuse Merino Singles or Fuse Sock base and all orders will ship on or before September 25th, in time for the book’s launch on October 3rd. The colorway is a surprise, but it will include all of the beautiful colors from the book cover. The best part is every purchase automatically enters you for a chance to win a SIGNED hard copy of the book!! The book deals with issues surrounding reproductive rights in America, so I feel it’s fitting to donate $5.00 of each skein sold to Planned Parenthood in support of women’s access to healthcare. “Spark of Light” is a limited-edition colorway and will not be dyed again, so make sure to get yours during the update this weekend!

Saturday’s update will also include sweater quantities of my Fuse Luxury Fingering base. For this update I focused on neutrals and colors that can be combined to make the perfect Rhinebeck sweater. The yarn combos in the above photos are: 1) River and Verdigris as seen in @knitosophy’s gorgeous Shusui Shrug. 2) Brooklyn Heights and Hinterland. 3) Smokey Eye and Dusk. 4) Black Pearls and Fairy House.

As always, thank you so much for browsing my shop giving my yarn a try!!!
