Moving away from the mammoth once a month update, Countess Ablaze is now switching it up a bit and repeatable colourways will appear in the shop more frequently. Just added are sock yarns on BFL/nylon and MCN high twist bases, plus some brightly coloured spinning fibres on BFL and superwash Merino.
Countess Ablaze has recently moved into a new studio that provides much more space for dyeing yarn and fibre, and now there is the space to dye for clubs! There are three clubs: Fibre Club, Sock Club and Rustic Club (non-superwash treated yarns including a North Ronaldsay fingering weight and a Wensleydale DK weight). Each will be a three-month subscription with access to non-repeatable colourways, with the first shipping by the 7th April.
Now into the second month of The Twelve Caesars Collection, Augustus has inspired 16 colourways in OOAK batches on both yarn and fibre. Countess Ablaze is an indie dyer from England (flat rate postage – win/win!) and every single yarn is dyed a minimum of twice to achieve high saturation and glossy results. The update will go live on Friday 28th February at 7pm GMT.
