A Valentine’s gift

A few of the yarns that Michelle dyed up for the special Indie Untangled shop remind me of Valentine’s Day, so I decided that a little gift was in order. From now through Feb. 15, buy any two skeins from the Berry Colorful Yarnings/Indie Untangled Pop-up and you will receive one pattern of your choice FREE from one of these Indie Untangled designers:

Buttonalia pop-up on Indie Untangled

I am excited to announce the latest Indie Untangled pop-up! This one includes handmade ceramic buttons from Sharry of Buttonalia. Some of you on Ravelry might have spied her creations on sweaters and mitts (I grabbed a set of light gray ones before the Rhinebeck Trunk Show for my Astral Bath Custom Fit Cardigan). She makes them in such beautiful colors and textures, so it’s like having another work of art on top of the work of art you’ve finished.

You’ll learn a little bit more about Sharry in the near future, but for now you can get some of her beautiful buttons — and if you’re in the U.S. or Canada, you don’t have to pay for shipping from the UK. 😉

Hosted by Indie Untangled: A Berry Colorful Yarnings pop-up

It’s officially been a month since the Rhinebeck Trunk Show, but that doesn’t mean the excitement is over. The fabulous Michelle of Berry Colorful Yarnings sent me a huge box of yarn to sell at the show, and while I’m very tempted to keep all of the remaining skeins for myself, I’ve decided to be generous and offer them up to you.

To do that, I’m launching a Berry Colorful Yarnings pop-up right here on Indie Untangled! There are nine skeins of fingering and sport in some gorgeous smokey grays and berry-colored purples, and one sole skein of Michelle’s very cool self-striping sock yarn. The form connects directly to PayPal and the yarn is ready to ship out immediately. So make sure to get your orders in soon, before the skeins start wandering into my stash… 😉

‘Treat’ yourself to a new project bag (or bowl)

There are still a few Indie Untangled yarn ball bags left over from the pre-Rhinebeck Trunk Show. If you want some instant gratification, there is a Reversible Fabric Yarn Bowl ($35), a Pandora Poke project bag ($50) and a Cindy Sue I large project bag ($55) available to ship out within a day or two of your order. Just use the order form in the Indie Untangled Shop.

If you’d like another item, Vicki and I are happy to accept orders and will be producing another batch shortly.

More to love from Indie Untangled & That Clever Clementine

The collaboration between Indie Untangled and That Clever Clementine continues, and for this round we’ve come out with some new ways for you to tote around your WIPs and show your “indie love.”

Along with the original Snapdragon notions pouches (also great for holding socks!) and Belle drawstring bags, there are some bigger bags with double fabric drawstrings: the Pandora Poke is 11″ wide and 11″ tall, the Cindy Sue I is 13″ x 13″ and the Cindy Sue II is a generous 15″ x 15″. Also new are unbreakable, super portable and reversible fabric yarn bowls, which will make great craft room decor.

We’ve gone with some fun new accent fabric that I think reflects the IU logo really well. You can order as many items as you want this time (be sure to take a look at the new shipping charts) and they will be made to order in a couple of weeks. If fabric runs out, we’ll still fulfill your order, but it will take just a bit longer.

Snag the last of the Snaps!

Here’s a logo bag status update: Vicki and I have sold out of the first run of 10 Belle bags, and there are still three Snapdragon pouches unclaimed that should be ready to ship out soon.

You can still place an order for a Belle or a Snap after the first batch is sold, though Vicki and I have been talking about using a different fabric for the lining and contrasting part of the bag in the next batch. She is thinking of using either the turquoise, grey or white fabric with the tiny dots for the trim and the “leash.” Or, we might mix and match!

Yarn ball bags now available!

I’m so excited to join all the talented artisans on this site and become an “official” Indie Untangled vendor!

The yarn ball bags that Vicki of That Clever Clementine created as a giveaway to celebrate the launch are now available for sale. We are starting off small and taking a limited number of preorders of “Belle” drawstring project bags and “Snapdragon” notions pouches, which are the perfect accessories for any knitter. Visit the new Indie Untangled Shop for all the details and to place your order. For now, you can purchase one of each bag, but we plan to make more depending on the response.
