Pandia’s Moon Box

Coming in May, I will be releasing my latest shawl pattern called Winter’s Moon and I thought it would be fun to create a Pandia’s Moon Box filled with everything you nee to make this beautiful shawl. Each box will contain three skeins of yarn, a Ravelry download code, and a few other lunar inspired goodies. I have a limited number of supplies so I only plan to make a few boxes. Preorders for the box will start Wednesday, March 27 at 10 a.m. EDT and will be available through 8 p.m. EDT on Sunday, March 31, unless they sell out before then. All of the preordered boxes are scheduled to ship sometime in June.

Romance Collection

The Romance Collection, which features new colors, stitch markers and kits, is now available on the Pandia’s Jewels website.

Two of the kits, Timeless Romance and Love Letters, are available for preorder until 8 p.m. EST this Sunday, January 20. There are several yarn bases to choose from, including fingering to DK weight. All preordered kits will ship in late February or early March.

Nimbus – Free Hat Pattern

Nimbus means a luminous cloud or halo around a supernatural being or a large gray rain cloud. I designed this hat to have a cable crown to show the world your inner supernatural strength. Not only on the good days but also on the days when a gray rain cloud may be hovering over you.

This hat was designed on smaller needles to create a very dense fabric and fit snug when worn. I did this intentionally. It has been my personal experience with knit hats that they tend to stretch with time. The goal for having such tight stitches and a dense fabric is to try and keep this from happening. For more information on this pattern, yarn requirements, and materials needed you can download your free copy from the blog on my website or by going to Ravelry.

I have also added some hat kits to the website which can be used for Nimbus or for any hat the requires DK and Lace held together. Each kit comes with two skeins of yarn and a free coordinating pom pom.

Peppermint Mocha Sock Kit Preorders

The winds have changed and the feeling of winter has crept into the air. This time of year there is nothing better than a nice pair of hand knit socks to keep your toes warm. C.C. Almon of Java Purl Designs and I have created another wonderful seasonal-inspired sock kit based on her Peppermint Mocha Sock pattern. Each kit and will include a skein of my Snug base yarn in the Peppermint Mocha colorway, a Ravelry pattern download code and this cute hand-stamped progress keeper.

Originally, back in 2016 when this pattern was first published, I created a darker peppermint colorway. But this year I decided to give it an update and this new version starts with a mint green base and has splashes of greens, pinks, browns and a few other colors mixed in.

Please keep in mind when ordering this product that this is a stock photo and there are no dye lots. This means that color distribution and saturation will vary greatly from skein to skein, from kit to kit, and from what is depicted in these photo. Preorders for these kit are available starting today and will close on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 8 p.m. EST. I can only make a select number of kits based on the supplies I have on hand and all kits will ship in late November or early December 2018.

C.C. Almon of Java Purl Designs and I have once again combined our powers to bring you another wonderful kit. This kit is inspired by C.C.’s I Love You More Than Pumpkin Spice sock pattern. There is nothing better than combining two things you love — Pumpkin Spice and wool. The colors included in this sock kit are an updated version of my Pumpkin Spice colorway from last year and a mini skein of Dark Roast (which has a dark brown purple hue to it). I have two kits available, one with the pattern and without. All kits will include a Snug sock kit and Pumpkin Spice-inspired goodies.

It’s that time of year again! I don’t know about you but I absolutely love fall. The Hudson Valley always looks so beautiful when the leaves begin to change, the apples become ripe and a chill can be felt in the air. Each year I love creating new fall and Halloween inspired colors for the shop. And it’s also the time of year when I like to bring back my tweed yarn bases. This year you will see lots of new colors, tonals, OOAKs and even a few colors from last year.

Outlander Inspired Kits

C.C. Almon of Java Purl Designs and I have once again combined our powers to bring you a beautiful Outlander Wrap Kit. The full kit inspired by book 4 will include: a skein of my Bauble Heavy Lace Base in color “Nothing is Lost,” a medium size tote bag with a thistle design I created, a spiral notebook, stitch markers and a Ravelry pattern download code.

Only a small number of full kits will be available, but there is the option to purchase a smaller kit which will consist of just the Bauble Lace and pattern code. Kits will be available for pre-order on the website through August 19, until 8 p.m. EDT. All orders placed during this time will ship in late September/early October.
