For the Spring and Summer months I have decided to add a new yarn base to the shop. My Bauble base is a 6-ply heavy lace/ light fingering weight yarn consisting of 100% SW Merino that comes in skeins of 822 yards per 150 grams. Which is the perfect amount for shawls or other lace projects. You can find this base dyed in a variety of tonal and speckled colors through out the website.

One of my favorite literary couples is Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy. What better way to celebrate their relationship then to go back to place where it all began? It was upon Elizabeth’s tour of Pemberley, the grounds, and seeing how Mr. Darcy acted towards her family that changes her feelings about him. In this 5th edition we go to Derbyshire and the Pemberley Estate. The colors work well together to create a lovely seven color fade. And to make things easier I have offered up the colors for pre-order as a complete kit on my Snug fingering base.

These colors include from Blue to Green: A stream of some natural importance, To be mistress of Pemberley, Elizabeth was delighted, A large handsome stone building, A small country estate, Ridge of high woody hills, & Derbyshire.

Additionally, all Regency 5th edition colors are available individually and can be dyed on Snug, Delight DK, or my Comfy Worsted bases. I only have a limited supply of the heavier weights so once they are gone that is it. There are also two additional colors to the collection: Talk Darcy to Me and The Lakeside District, which also pair well with the colors in this particular fade.

Colors in the 5th edition collection will be available for preorder on the website through Sunday March 4, 2018 until 8 p.m. Eastern time and should ship in late May.

Anyone who know me knows how much I love a good fingering weight yarn. But as the months become colder I look forward to working with a heavier weight yarn. Since I am very picky about the yarn bases that I carry in my shop, it has taken me a while to find the perfect heavier weight yarn bases. I am happy to announce that I finally found them and that they are now available in the shop!

You can now find a variety of DK weight yarns in various blends of Merino, nylon, Cashmere, and sparkle. These new bases are available as single skeins and I even have a few fade kits. For more information about these yarns please visit the Yarn Base section of my website.

Besides adding new bases to the website I have also added a few new colors including Relative Dimension, Three Fates, Celestial Beauty, and some new tonals.

I have been very busy the past few weeks dying some new tonal and speckled colors. The website has been updated and all of these colors work well together to create a variety of fades. Colors are currently available on several of my fingering weight bases. Just visit the **New** section of the website to view them all. There are even a few OOAKs sprinkled in there.

The Voyage Through Time Outlander-inspired color sold out very quickly when I had initially posted it.

This time I am offering up the color as a preorder on the website until 8 p.m. Saturday Sept. 23, 2017. The color will be available to order on my Snug or Super Sparkle bases and is scheduled to ship in late October/early November.

Fall is absolutely my favorite time of year in the Hudson Valley and I am happy to announce that the Fall into Halloween Collection launched today on the website. This collection includes some old seasonal colors as well as a bunch of new colors. And there is a large variety of colors that range from speckled to fall-inspired tonal colors. All of the colors are in stock, ready to ship, and are also available on a variety of yarn bases. A few colors are even OOAK, which means they are one of a kind and usually dyed in small quantities.

The Regency Collection is a series of colors inspired by the world of Jane Austen and this edition is completely inspired by Lady Catherine de Bourgh

Colors will be available on two of my yarn bases First you have the option of choosing my Snug Base which is 75/25 SW Merino/Nylon fingering weight; 462 yds/ 100 grams per skein. Or you can pick my Shimmer Base which is is a singly ply fingering yarn that is a blend of 95/5 SW Merino/ Stellina; 400 yards/ 100 grams per skein.

Colors Included in this edition starting from light to dark: A prettyish kind of wilderness, Obstinate, headstrong girl!, Shades of Pemberley, Lady Catherine de Bourgh, & I am most seriously displeased.

A little about these colors: the first three colors are similar in nature and make for a very lovely fade. A prettyish kind of wilderness starts with a white base which progressively gets more gray by the third color which is Shades of Pemberley. All three of these colors are splattered with various shades of blue, green, and purple.

The fourth color in this collection starts with a deep purple base and has splatters of the same colors as seen in the first three colors with a touch of some darker shades of gray and black. And the fifth color in this collection is a lovely purple tonal that ties together all the purples that can be found in each of the other colors. Please keep in mind that there are no dye lots and that color distribution will vary greatly from skein to skein when placing your order.

This is a pre-order that will be available on the website from July 24-August 13, 2017 until 8 p.m. EDT. All orders placed for these colors during this time will ship sometime in November 2017.
