There’s been a shop update with some new colors and favorites!
If you’ve been wanting some of my special Rhinebeck 2017 colorway that I dyed up for the Indie Untangled Trunk Show in October you can now grab some on Journey Worsted in the shop! This will be the only batch of it on a worsted weight, so grab it while you can. I’ll be dyeing more of this colorway on Mericash Fingering (70/20/10 MCN) soon — follow me on Instagram at @skeinnydippingyarn to find out when!
I have just uploaded the shop with lots of goodies, including a new base that debuted at the Indie Untangled Trunk Show — Polwarth Silk DK, a non-superwash yarn thats squooshy and soft.
All of the Rhinebeck 2017 skeins sold out at the trunk show but I will be dyeing more of that up on my Mericash Fingering and Journey Worsted yarns this month, with another update TBD. Thanks for having a look!

Bristol Ivy has just released a new pattern using our Alpaca/Silk Sport yarn. Rillmark is started as a traditionally constructed pi shawl, with lace and texture elements inspired by the place where the water meets the shore. After the body is complete, the asymmetrical border is worked using simple lace and increases. Using less than 600 yards of sportweight yarn, it’s a quick and fun knit for an elegant finished shawl.
The yarn for this project is available for pre-order in the Skeinny Dipping shop! Alpaca/Silk Sport is an exquisite blend of 80% superfine alpaca and 20% silk. All the yarn is in stock. Knitters just need to select the number of skeins (all of two were used for this project, but you can order an extra to prevent Yarn Chicken!) and what colorway they would like. Free shipping in the US, and a shipping discount equal to the cost of domestic shipping is given to international customers. The pattern is available on Ravelry.
