The Winter Solstice Calendars will be inspired by the general witchy cozy vibes of a snow covered forest on solstice, think dark trees, Moon glows and the cronching of snow beneath your boots while it echoes through the forest.
BOTH Calendars. Each year I like to mix up the advent/calendar styles and I couldn’t choose just one so this season we are doing a Solstice Sock Calendar and a FIBER calendar.

Solstice Sock Advent ($200): You will receive 4 sock sets each set being 1- 100g skein and 2 – 20g minis in contrast colors, all on the Nectar base. Alongside the yarn you will also get notions!

Fiber Solstice Advent ($160): 12 -20g bumps alongside the same vibe as the sock sets, not the same colors but same vibe and 1 – 100g Braid.
All of the fiber will be the same blend that way you don’t need to change any spinning techniques between the days!

Preorder days: June 1, 9a ET and July 1, 11a ET — Each preorder will be up for 10 days or until they sell out!

Hey friends! While I’m busy getting the Countdown to Summer packaged up and ready to head out the door, I don’t have a lot of new ready-to-ship items, but I did manage to get these two beauties back in stock: Winter’s Eve is a longtime customer favorite and Summer Berries is another classic and they both make delightful yarn!

Corriedale is an excellent fiber to work with for both beginners and more experienced fiber artists. It’s a longer wool with a staple length of 3-4.5″. Grown in New Zealand with a micron count of 25-30, it’s a great option for outerwear or items you need to handle a lot of wear over time.

Orders ship out the 1st of June and I look forward to seeing whatever fibers catch your eye while browsing!

Amy’s Trinket Shop is now taking preorders for our Hanukkah Mystery Kits. They were such a hit last year we decided to do it again. The kits will be offered in a 75/25 SW Merino/nylon blend yarn in both fingering and DK weights. Each kit will contain seven coordinated mini skeins and one full skein dyed to compliment the minis. Each kit also includes three surprises sprinkled over the eight nights. Preorder will close July 1st and all kits will ship no later than October 25th (Shipping is free). Visit www.etsy.com/shop/amystrinketshop to order yours today as supplies are limited.

This will be Created by Elsie B’s sixth seasonal fiber countdown. It started with Spring 2022 and has continued to be a customer favorite.

On Blue Faced Leicester this time, you can choose from a total of 15 oz or 7.5 oz (1 oz or .5 oz pieces)

Orders close on Monday, May 22nd and will ship out May 29th and should arrive with plenty of time to start the daily surprise on June 7th. Starting that day means you’ll open the very last piece on the official first day of summer!

Each of the 15 pieces are packaged individually in a white mini paper lunch bag and there will be pieces of a poem inspired by the season stapled to each bag with the numbered order in which you should unwrap each piece.

How you use the pieces is completely up to you — we’ve had people keep them in individual mini skeins, do one large skein with all the colorways, pair a few days together, or wait until they’ve opened all the days before deciding on the color placement they like best.

The color inspiration for this countdown is red and aquamarine blue, but there will likely be other shades and tones that sneak their way into the final project. Typically each piece includes two or more colors for visual interest as you’re working with them (so each piece isn’t just a straight solid color).

I hope you’ll join us for the fun and if this round isn’t to your taste, keep your eye out for Fall’s Countdown coming soon!

This spring month we are taking inspiration from our neighborhood walks and watching all the flowers bloom. Our pastel set is the featured mini skein set with aqua, pink, lilac, peach, ice blue and mint. I couldn’t wait to try them as stripes in Brie Christine’s fun Quartet Socks pattern. Using white for contrast in the color work made the colors really pop. Pulling the pink and lilac out of the bunch, I had to dye up a sock set called Mayflower, added sprinkles and contrasted it with the light and darker plums for heels and cuff. Peach also pulls at my heart so I sprinkled that with darker peach, spring green and a light touch of aqua for the second sock set named Wildflowers. It reminds me of a painting and every stitch is so fun to knit. The darker peach and spring green as contrasts are so perfect with it. With a new grandbaby in the family, I also couldn’t wait to use the colors together in a baby hat. These are all so much fun to play with! I hope you grab some and enjoy them as well!

Hey friends!

Every month from the 1st to the 15th I offer my entire established catalog of repeatable colorways (300+ of them!) dyed to order on a specific fiber base. This month’s fiber base is delicious Targhee/bamboo/silk and if you haven’t already worked with this combo, it’s well worth trying.

I typically offer a 10% discount on any DTO orders placed during the 1st week of the month but with the code INDIEUNTANGLED you can get that same discount now until Dyed to Order closes on the 15th.

DTO ships two months after purchase and this makes for an excellent happy mail day for future you.

The listings: There are nine of them, include a single photo of every colorway braided in a flat-lay style and you’re welcome to mix and match colorways — there are quite a few semisolids that coordinate with a variety of variegated beauties.

Let me know if you’ve got any questions and I can’t wait to see which colorways catch your eye!

Hey Friends, I just added these lovelies to the shop on one of my favorite fiber bases! Gelato, Apple Picking, Loch Lomond, Bandana, Beach House and Arctic Violets — there’s something there for any color enthusiast and as always they’re on fluffy and well-handled combed top, perfect for spinning as-is or turning into your preferred fiber prep style. I dye in a mirrored style that makes for easy fractal planning and as always, sell in 4 oz increments. I can’t wait to see which one(s) catch your eye!

We are singing the blues this month and creating a gorgeous blue combos with our new mini skein set. The colors in this set are navy, sky, light baby, lapis, ice blue and blue skies. Seeing them all together, I couldn’t wait to knit the navy, light baby and blue skies together in a striped sock as as well. The tones play so nicely together. That rabbit hole also led me down the path to creating the Icy Hot Blue sock set with the aqua tones and neon green contrast minis along with the April Showers sock set with the lapis blue (which is sooo pretty) and purple-navy contrast minis. I also couldn’t resist knitting up a classic beanie with stripes and color work using lapis and light baby together for my friend’s new little baby boy! OMG, so many pretty blues to play with.

Hello!

For those who don’t know me:
I am Nat, owner of Fiberdog Fibers and I create and sell yarn and fibers created from the raw fleece. Meaning I buy fleeces from shepherds here in the U.S. and then wash, pick, card, dye and spin them for you to enjoy.

Today I have for you three different products that all come from the same Romeldale/CVM fleece: one undyed yarn in a just dreamy grey, a yarn in shades of blue and a mini wool batt in shades of red, blue and purple.

I am an official fiber provider for the Shave ‘Em to Safe ‘Em program, so both yarns can earn you a Romeldale/CVM sticker for your passport. The batts are too small to qualify, however, if you purchase more than 4 oz of them total, just add a comment in your cart and I can send you a sticker as well.

Both yarns have similar details:
– 100% wool (Romeldale/CVM)
– 230m (251 yards)
– 120g (4.2oz)
– Sport weight (18 WPI), category 2 (fine)

Lapis Lazuli (the blue yarn) can be yours for $37.50 per skein, Pure Holly (the undyed yarn) is $35 per skein.

The mini batt is $10 for a 30g (1 oz) batt. It features different shades of red, blue and purple and has been created with a textured yarn in mind, but naturally you can spin it any way you want.

Shipping in the U.S. is $4.50 and free for orders over $100. If you are outside the U.S., please send me a message, as I do not normally offer international shipping.

Due to the very handmade nature of these products, supplies are limited.

Finally a little tip:
At the very bottom of the website you will see a form to sign up to become a fiber pack member. All this means is signing up for my free monthly newsletter that comes with exclusive discounts for fiber pack members.

Enjoy!
