Monica of Gothfarm Yarn, who specializes in non-Superwash, naturally-colored yarns, has collaborated with Ali of Savvy Skeins on the Q 4000 sock kit. The main color is a new custom-milled, fingering-weight yarn from Gothfarm called Oxide, which was created by blending Jacob sheep wool with cinnamon red alpaca fleece, and is only available in the kit.
