Since June 2017, more than two dozen dyers have created yarn colorways inspired by photos of our national parks for Indie Untangled.
Starting in 2021, this project also supports the Native American Rights Fund, which provides legal assistance to help preserve tribal existence and natural resources, promote Native American human rights and hold governments accountable to Native Americans.
We are proud to support the work of the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks, as well as Native American organizations, and through this campaign have donated more than $12,000 to help preserve our beautiful public lands and support the original inhabitants of it. For transparency purposes, you can see donation receipts here.
New Knitting Our National Parks colorways are available to preorder for two weeks every other month. They are occasionally re-released, but can only be purchased through Indie Untangled.
Shop our currently available skeins, browse the gallery of previous inspiration photos and colorways, and make sure to sign up for the Indie Untangled newsletter to find out when new Knitting Our National Parks colorways are released!
