Join Indie Untangled and friends for shopping, community, crafting and FUN in fabulous NOLA!

Our fourth annual Yarni Gras marketplace will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 12-3 p.m. at Urban South Brewery, 1645 Tchoupitoulas St., New Orleans. Shop from our indie vendors and enjoy a craft beer and eats — including the famous Dong Phuong king cake! — in the taproom.

Event Registration

We’re hosting our marketplace in a semi-private space at the brewery. In order to make sure you have a comfortable shopping experience, there will be three entry times: 12 p.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Admission is free, or you can purchase tickets that include a Yarni Gras tote bag to pick up at the event and fill with your purchases.

Urban South Brewing is open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Saturdays, so before or after your marketplace entry time, we invite you to grab a beer and a bite and enjoy the taproom.

Participating Vendors

I’ll be traveling to New Orleans with a selection of breed-specific hand-dyed yarn and unique accessories from a variety of indie brands.

Stacie of Baahumble has been crocheting for about nine years, but realized that the tools of the trade seemed to be lacking in creativity and is working to change that. She designs custom notions and maker friendly tools out of her NOLA-based studio and is inspired by the world around her from the places she’s traveled, holidays, nature, and even her home town of New Orleans.

Micah and Benjamin Key are the owners of Baton Rouge-based Fleur De Stitch’d. Micah, who learned to crochet in her late teens and later picked up knitting, started dyeing yarn in 2019 after noticing the lack of a nearby yarn shop. Micah’s hand-dyed wool and cotton yarn is available in her online store and several LYSs in New Orleans, and she also makes stitch markers. Micah strives to make a difference in the community by teaching kids how to crochet and knit, organizing stitch socials and hosting a fiber festival. Micah hopes that when people meet her, it leaves a positive mark on their life.

Cat dyes her vibrant yarns in her Louisiana home studio, drawing inspiration from her home state, along with the fandoms she loves.

Mitchell’s Creations is an indie-dyed yarn company based in Franklinton, Louisiana. Terra dyes Louisiana-inspired colorways and yarn bases in small batches.

Robyn dyes her bright colorways, many of which are inspired by the art, history, food and culture of NOLA, in her home studio just outside the city.

Rick, a longtime NOLA resident, creates exceptional, colorful and quality accessories and hand-dyed yarn for knitters, crocheters and fiber artists.
