Where We Knit, the first Indie Untangled yarn club, brings together four indie dyer and designer teams. Each pair will create a colorway and an accompanying accessory pattern, drawing inspiration from various places where they whip out their works in progress. The club will start in February 2016. Every three months, you will receive one skein of hand-dyed yarn in an exclusive colorway, a PDF pattern that will be exclusive for three months and a special handmade gift based on the theme of each installment.

Drops of Honey: Both Ami, who lives in Idaho, and Janina, who is based in Finland, agree — in the winter, nothing is nicer than snuggling up on your couch by the fire (if you have one), with a cup of hot tea and honey, maybe some Netflix on the TV and, of course, your knitting.

French Market Fibers and Toby Roxane Barna
Two Rivers: One of Margaret’s favorite places to knit is on the levee overlooking the Mississippi River in New Orleans, the city that inspires many of her colorways. Toby, who is based in New York’s Hudson Valley, loves to knit on the back porch, where she can almost glimpse the Hudson River through the trees.

Skeinny Dipping and Stephannie Tallent
At the Brewery: In the summer, there’s no better combination than crafting and delicious craft beer. Massachusetts-based Christine and California-based Stephannie come together in a fictional beer garden.

Magpie Fibers and Lara Smoot
The Beach in Fall: Lara snapped this photo of a blue crab on the beach while on a fall vacation in Yorktown, Virginia. Dami, who lives in nearby Maryland, is envisioning icy blue and grey inspired by the rough surf, overcast sky and sun-bleached treasures.
Sign-ups will run from Nov. 20 through Dec. 20, 2015 for a limited number of spots. You can choose a one-time payment and receive a $20 discount off the entire club ($172 for U.S. shipping, $192 for Canada shipping or $220 for international shipping) or pay in quarterly installments ($48/month for U.S. shipping, $53/month for Canada shipping and $60/month for international shipping). There is even an option on each form to give a club subscription as a gift to your favorite knitter! Packages will ship out approximately the first week of each month.
