“Gradients A Deux” is a rectangular-shaped shawl consisting of simple lace paired with garter and stockinette stitch. The shawl is worked from the center out, in the round until the specified stitch count is achieved. Each side of the shawl is then worked separately. A series of increases and decreases along the right-side rows result in a zigzag pattern which accents the beautiful gradients’ color progressions and produces an unusual edging on the ends.
Gauge: 22 sts by 52 rows = 4 inches in garter st
Yarn: Shawl uses two gradient sets, 6 skeins per set, 133 yds/skein. This shawl also lends itself to using up scrap yarn.
