I’d like to pretend that summers are lazy and full of time for knitting and crocheting. More often, though, I’m squeezing it in whenever I can — a few minutes in the dentist’s waiting room, picking the kids up from day camp or, if I’m really lucky, an hour on a beach or by a pool. These little moments make a grab-and-go bag the perfect size for my summer knitting. I can stash a ball or two of yarn and work on socks, the start of a sweater or sleeve, or that breezy summer shawl I’ve been meaning to cast on. They’re great for granny squares, and my spinning friends tell me these bags are also perfect for a drop spindle. In addition to these pretty Dumplings, I have a new batch of sockses boxed coming soon. My subscribers always get first access to new bags, so if you’d like to join, please sign up using the link on my website.
