“Switch” is thus named for a number of reasons: the alternating stitch patterns that “switch” between the body of the shawl and the border; the “switching” between the right side and wrong side of the fabric as the shawl is reversible; and lastly, the ability to “switch” to different yarn weights. Which would you choose? A semi-solid in Solstice or perhaps a highly variegated in sock? The possibilities are endless!
Instructions are included for lengthening or shortening the shawl, depending upon your preference. Knit one up in one of Magpie Fiber’s luscious bases and you’re guaranteed to have a shawl that is perfect for a cool, summer’s evening and snuggly enough for a cold, winter’s day!
