We have just released a brand new base — Masham and Leicester! It’s available in Fingering and DK. It’s an all-British yarn: processed and spun in Yorkshire from British sheep and dyed by hand in our studio on the south coast of England.
The yarn takes dye a little differently: the BFL is a white wool and the Masham a brown wool. We overdye the heathered yarn, producing interesting new colours from our classic colourways. Available in 18 colours.
It has an interesting texture, soft and fuzzy. Fantastic for fair isle and colourwork. Non-Superwash — please wash your garments by hand.
