Milling your own custom base is thrilling, scary and a great leap of faith. I knew just what I wanted when I developed my Cormo sportweight 2-ply. Something bouncy, a bit lofty, soft for a non-Superwash yarn, that would work equally well for cables and textures and stranded colorwork.
I launched this new base at this year’s Indie Untangled show and finally have it all restocked, photo’ed and listed in my Etsy shop. 100% USA sourced from Wyoming flocks and milled in Montana, it meets all my expectations.
