Our favorite butterflies have completed a colorful metamorphosis!

The whirlwind response to our friendly flock of Suavest Sheep, Lovable Lambs, and Sensational Sheep has kept these little butterflies on standby for quite some time. Luckily for all of us, they seem to have undergone a very colorful metamorphosis while we were looking elsewhere!

Three new colors have joined the lineup, so I thought I’d take a moment to talk about how I put their wonderful wings to work.

With a gentle squeeze, the top wing of each butterfly opens slightly from the body to make it handy in many everyday situations. They can be used to mark stitches, track your progress, mark pattern repeats, hold other stitch markers, count rows, mark the right side, and hold dropped stitches. My preferred method is to have one large butterfly holding a sampling of smaller ones.

The Flutterby Holder features a lobster clasp, so you can easily attach it to your project bag, key ring, or project for easy access. I enjoy a varied group so I can employ a bit of color coordination-organized projects make for happy crafters! Which new color is your favorite?
