Hi Everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted on Indie Untangled but wanted to give everyone an update of all the new things I’ve added to the shop at Charming Ewe!

2021 was such an exciting year for me as I launched Charming Ewe and I cannot thank you all enough for your support. It’s been such an honor to connect with so many wonderful people that not only love yarn, but create such beautiful things with yarn! I am constantly in awe of the beautiful finished objects I see people sharing whether it is with yarn from Charming Ewe or yarn from the so many talented indie dyers out there!

For 2022, I plan to add more mini sets, more sock sets and just have fun playing with color. I am in the process of rebuilding my website and will be adding new features such as restock requests and a “build your own” sock set feature. With the mild weather we’ve been having in Texas, I got a bit of a head start working on spring colors. I may have released them a little early but I couldn’t wait to share the spring colors I have been working on. I’m still working on releasing more new colors but here is just a sampling of the colors I’ve posted on my site that make me feel like Spring is in the Air!!!

In addition to the spring colors, I’ve created a Valentine Bundle that includes five mini skeins and one full-sized skein that is inspired by the Sweethearts conversation heart candies. The new conversation candies now have “love songs” on them so I have used that as inspiration in creating the Valentine Luv Song bundle!

Hi Everyone!

I can’t believe the holiday season is upon us! In preparation for the holidays, I’ve been having a lot of fun creating new colors! Deck the Halls is a fun sock set of bright red and green with multi-colored speckles that remind of driving through the neighborhood and looking at all of the houses decorated with lights. Victorian Holiday is a softer take on reds and greens but still reminiscent of holiday cheer. Let it snow reminds me of the song “I’m dreaming of a White Christmas” although we don’t get much of that here in Texas! And there is also Candy Cane Crush and Peppermint Bark sock sets. Something else I’ve been working on is a collaboration with the Knitty Bitty Sisters. I’ve created an exclusive colorway for the Knitty Bitty Sisters called O’Christmas Tree where 20% of the proceeds will go to the Salvation Army Angel Tree. As I start to plan for 2022, I will be doing more sock sets and introducing mini skein collections and hope to do an advent. It’s been a busy couple of weeks and I’ve added some new things to my shop that I’m excited to share with you!

The Cocoa collection has finally been added to the shop and can be purchased in 50/100g sets as well as individually. You can find them here.

I’ve also added several new colorways including Mulberry Cider, Sugarplum Fairy and Snickerdoodle in preparation for the holidays. These can be found here. There are companion solids for Mulberry Cider and Sugarplum Fairy and those will also be offered in 50/100g sets.

The last set of colors of I’ve added are Nightfall and Mystic Topaz. Both of these can be found here.

I hope you enjoy the latest colors I’ve added! In the meantime, I have been busy dyeing up stock for all of the fall colors which have been extremely popular!

Hi Everyone! My name is Maureen and I am the owner and dyer of Charming Ewe Hand Dyed Yarns located in Texas. I am a new business and am excited to be part of the fiber community! I’ve been a knitter for a very long time and just recently learned Tunisian Crochet. I love all things yarn, notions and bags and everything in between!

At Charming Ewe, my is goal is to create beautiful yarns that inspire and add joy to your knitting and crochet projects. From tonals and solids to speckled and variegated yarns, and bases from fingering through worsted, there is something for everyone!

These are some of the fall colors I have listed in my shop along with a host of other solids/tonals and speckled yarns. I am adding new colors about every week, sometimes more often and sometimes less and post updates on Instagram. I offer both 50g and 100g skeins and Sock Sets. I would love your feedback on whether you’d like to see the fall colors or any color collection in the future offered in a 50g or mini set collection with solid colors mixed in! My goal is to stock yarn and make them readily available on my site so I can get them to you as quickly as I can. When I don’t have stock, everything is dye to order and my turnaround time is usually 2 days to a week. I am also happy to dye sweater quantities!
