Are Ewe Feeling Sheepish? has joined my flock of sheepy patterns on Ravelry, with plenty of time to knit it for Rhinebeck! It is knit in worsted weight, in one piece, top down, with no seaming, and can be made for a woman or a man. Join us for a fun Sheep-A-Long in my Ravelry group, Let’s Knit Together, where you can knit any of my sheepish patterns. I have two adult sweaters (and one more on the way!) and three baby sweaters (with a fourth on the way that includes big kid sizes, too!). Cast on day is August 15th, and we’ll have a Sheepish meet-up for everyone going to the Indie Untangled Trunk Show, and another at Rhinebeck. I hope to see you there!

Are Ewe Knitting Me? is knit top-down in one piece with absolutely no seaming! It utilizes fingering weight yarn in a circular yoke design and can be “faded” or knit in your choice of color. This one was knit with Neighborhood Fiber Co’s Rustic Fingering and Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light, which knit together beautifully!

Join me for a fun Sheep-A-Long in my Ravelry group, Let’s Knit Together, or on Instagram with #sheepalong and #knittingmelissa. The KAL includes all of my sheep patterns (a few more will be released in upcoming weeks), and will start on August 15th. The goal is to bind off by October 19th so you can wear your sweater (or hat, or bring a sweater- wearing child) to Rhinebeck! I’ll be wearing mine to the Indie Untangled Trunk Show, as well as to the New York Sheep and Wool Festival, and we’ll arrange a meet-up or two for a fun group photo.

Windswept is a flowy, easy to wear cardigan that goes with just about every outfit, and looks good on just about every body type. It is an easy knit: top-down, with absolutely NO seaming, and only a handful of stitches to pick up at the underarms. Windswept features very subtle shaping, allowing for an even, flowy drape. The front panels overlap most of the chest, so the chest measurement is based on doubling the back width (for example, the 32” is 16” across the back, and each front panel is 15” wide). It is sized 28″ through 48″ bust size.

Choose a complementary or contrasting color for the stripes, or go wild and crazy with a neon or speckled yarn to add some fun and flair to your wardrobe. This one is knit in Madelinetosh Tosh Sock, in Antler and Night Bloom.
