Showing Paola Albergamo

This sweet little bandana is a small, quick knit that’s fun and interesting to make and very versatile to wear: it can be worn around your neck as a soft cowl, or as a skinny foulard, or it can be used over your head as a headband, as a head foulard or even a fun turban.

And it’s perfect as a last minute gift!

There’s a 15% discount until Sunday, December 19 using the code nocturne.

I love creating geometric optical illusions with knitting and I think that the combination of brioche with garter stitch is perfect for that! The result is a luscious and warm wrap that looks different every time you look at it, fascinating the eye and the mind.

This stole is worked using a laceweight yarn, that is used plain in the two ends (at the beginning and the end of the piece), giving an airy and translucent appearance to these parts and a more elegant drape to the entire stole. The center part, on the contrary, is worked with yarn held doubled, adding warmth and weight to the piece and making the illusion design more evident.
