Rebecca from WildWestDye specializes in all naturally-dyed yarn, all hand dyed from her home studio in British Columbia, and is the designer and developer of WildWestDye’s knitting kits.

Canadian spun, pure 17 micron Superwash Merino (and for context, Cashmere is 19 micron and below) is ethically sourced from New Zealand where the sheep are free to express their normal sheep behavior and mulesing is not performed.

I encourage you to make your own kits! Fingering and DK yarn is available to purchase in 25g (0.88oz) quantities, so you can buy just what you need. All yarn and kits are shipped in cakes, ready to knit.

For the love of Indigo, lots of new kits uniquely dyed using Indigo. Soft singles bulky in a Merino/Cashmere/nylon blend for an oh-so-soft and satisfying knit, the Missi hat and cowl is suitable for all knitters, and perfect for a gift for yourself or someone special.

Pure Merino worsted weight yarn now available in new colours, all under dyed with Indigo first (except for Orancher) to achieve tonals that are perfect for all types of knitting, from stockinette to cables. CabooseWay is a three colour, three texture indigo kit launched with this new collection of worsted weight yarn.

Using traditional natural dye ingredients, with layering and shifters applied to create the collection of semisolid and tonal colorways. Semisolids and tonal colorways are ideal for all knitting lovers, from stockinette to textures and colorwork, they work for all designs.

New colours, yarn and kits are available, Cosy beddy socks, hats, cowls and shawls. I also encourage you to make you own kits!
