If you’re a fan of knights and ladies, or just really cool yarn clubs, then the Poisoned Apple Club from Round Table Yarns is for you. The four-month yarn club follows the Arthurian story of the poisoned apple. Each shipment includes a different yarn base with a special club colorway inspired by that month’s portion of the story. What to stash this week: ‘Knitflix’ this
This collaboration is the coolest thing to come out of the UK since The Great British Bake Off. Lola of Third Vault Yarns and Emily of Rhapsodye Yarns have teamed up for The Lucifer Project, creating two colorways inspired by characters from the TV show Lucifer, a police procedural based on characters from Neil Gaiman’s Sandman.

A peek inside Woolyn Brooklyn, my new local yarn shop
In a few weeks, once I make it through our kitchen renovation and packing up or purging 11 years worth of stuff, I will officially become a Brooklynite. Tonight, I got to attend the friends and family celebration for what will become my new local yarn shop. I couldn’t think of a better welcome to my new borough.
I first heard about Woolyn when owner Rachel Maurer came to last year’s Rhinebeck Trunk Show to scope out indie dyers to carry in a new yarn store….

What to stash this week: Curves and color
Rookwood is a collaboration between designer Mindy Wilkes and Jeanne of Ohio-based Destination Yarn. The colorways and Japanese stitch patterns in this two-color shawl are inspired by the colors and curves in pieces from the iconic Cincinnati company, Rookwood Pottery. Kits with a few different color combinations are available from Destination Yarn and the pattern is also available on its own on Ravelry.
The crew at Slipped Stitch Studios has created a combination that will leave you dead of cute overload: Dia de los Muertos kitties AND puppies….

What to stash this week: Moving Day sale
Laura and the crew at Slipped Stitch Studios crew moving to a new, larger space. Throughout this weekend, they’re holding a huge moving sale, offering decent discounts on some of their most popular products.
Simone’s new design, the Upland Socks, look like the knitting equivalent of wiggling your toes in some thick green grass. Inspired by gnarled branches and twisting roots, the socks feature a cable pattern worked on the front,…

What to stash this week: Get taken away by patterns and yarn
Wanderlust Knits, a new pattern club from designer Janina Kallio, is a responsible yarny indulgence. Members receive four accessory patterns released in April, June, September and November, well before they’re available for sale individually. The first pattern, which you receive when you sign up, is Daydreamer, a two-color crescent shaped shawl with stripes, eyelets and a knitted-on edging, exactly the simple, striking, pattern that Janina is known for….

Fruitcake, the latest design from Michael Harrigan is a scarf/shawl hybrid. Knit from the top down in squishy garter, it has a lovely lace and picot edging and is named after the yummy-looking yarn from Scottish indie dyer WooSheeps.
Speaking of yummy, the super-soft Thoreau, a 50/50 yak/silk yarn I admired at Vogue Knitting live is now available from Crave Yarn!
