KnitSpinQuilt has been quiet recently — I was in England in the winter/spring for graduate school, and then had a very busy summer. But not too busy to bring you something new for sweater-knitting season!
A new bag size — sweater-sized bags — made their debut at the Indie Untangled Trunk Show last weekend.
Did you miss the show? You don’t have to miss these bags!
There are both drawstring bags and box bags in a size designed to hold a worsted weight sweater quantity of yarn. (If you’re knitting a bulky sweater, you’re probably good: if you’re knitting a bulky floor-length sweater-coat, these won’t be big enough.)
Not a sweater knitter? There are new things for shawl, accessory, and sock knitters too! I’ve posted images of the comparative box sizes, and I have notes in my Etsy listings of how much yarn each bag will hold!
Check out the new fabrics KnitSpinQuilt brought to the trunk show — from female rocket scientists to moths and butterflies to origami cats, there’s something for (nearly) everyone. (No foxes yet, but I’m looking, person who asked at the trunk show!)
Please do remember that I donate 15% of the ticket price — not 15% of profits — to RAICES Texas for their ongoing work on immigration justice and reform.
