At 8 a.m. Eastern, limited quantities of mini skein sets of all 10 colorways will be available for purchase at both websites. The mini skeins will weigh 10 grams each and have 40 yards, for a total of 100 grams/400 yards of 80/20 super wash merino/nylon fingering weight yarn.

Each individual website will also have individual skeins of the colorways for sale. Please note that Brew City Yarns will only have their colorways available for purchase as individual skeins. The same applies to Kim Dyes Yarn.

Kim will also bring a limited quantity of mini skein sets and full skeins of her colorways to a trunk show on Saturday the 25th at Lovelyarns in Baltimore, MD. 1-5 p.m.

Kim at Kim Dyes Yarn has been busy dyeing up a line of new colorways for spring and is excited to share them with you in a shop update. You’ll fall for bright and fun colorways like Bed of Iris, Beach House, and Peaches on a variety of yarn weights from fingering to bulky.

Also in this shop update are new shawl length skeins on Croissant sock, a 100% superwash merino fingering yarn. Each skein has 650 yards–enough to make numerous shawl patterns. AND! Bulky skeins are instock, now with 150 yards for the same price as the old skeins of 105 yards. I heard your concern that 105 yards wasn’t enough for many projects and decided to make the bulky Cream Puff Superwash Merino yarn even better.

Spinners, watch for colorways on Sparkly Superwash Merino, Superwash Targhee, & BFL/Silk.

Caroline Hockenberry from Fibernate transformed a skein of Ziggy Stardust into this shawlette pattern, ready to be worn to all of the concerts and shows you hit this summer. I’m such a hardcore Gilmore Girls fan and I can’t even describe to you how excited I am about this new yarn club!

Subscriptions are being taken right now for the new Gilmore Girls Yarn Club over at Kim Dyes Yarn. The three-month subscriptions means you will get a skein of sock or worsted weight yarn in your mailbox each month. Each colorway is exclusive to the club members and will be based on the amazing characters of Stars Hollow.

Out of the three months, at least one skein will be a luxury yarn including silk, cashmere, yak or other wonderful fiber. The club is $70 for three months in the US (including shipping) and $100 for other countries (including shipping).

You won’t want to miss Robin’s Egg dyed on a supremely squishy and soft USA Merino Sock yarn. Also, new colorway Quiet Lake dyed two ways — gradient on a soft organic bulky Merino yarn and variegated dyed on beautiful and lustrous BFL/Tussah silk top. A lot of fiber artists crave bright, hot and vivid colors to work with. Technicolor Peacock fulfills all of those desires. Hot pink, purple, turquoise and bright green have been dyed on a soft and sturdy Merino worsted weight yarn. There are four skeins in this dye lot — each skein weighs 3.5 oz. and has 220 yards.
