Showing Knitting Lizard Fibers

I’ve really enjoyed exploring fiber this year and couldn’t wait to do a small countdown for it. So this year I’m offering an Autumn Equinox Fiber Countdown!

Each box will have eight 1-oz bumps of fiber in coordinating cozy Autumn tones. You can open them all at once or count down the week leading up to the Autumn Equinox on September 22.

The fiber options for this box are Shaniko Silk, American Rambouillet, or a special limited Rambouillet and alpaca blend from Get Bentz Farms. Theresa runs a local solar powered mill and she makes it a goal to use MN- and Midwest-sourced fiber when possible. I’m so excited to collab with her for this box!

The boxes will only be available through Memorial Day, so don’t wait!

For March, we explored The Emerald City of Oz with a deep emerald green tonal and were introduced to Polychrome the Cloud Fairy in Tik-Tok of Oz through a pastel rainbow variegated colorway. Both colorways are available for preorder on a variety of yarn bases and blends of spinning fiber. Listings for March will close March 8 and orders will ship by the end of the month.

Journey through Oz with me as we explore the 14 books of the Oz series (in no particular order) by L. Frank Baum over the next seven months. Each month we will showcase two books with a tonal and variegated colorway inspired by either a character or scene in the book. There are full club subscriptions available for across multiple yarn bases and two fiber blends, along with month-to-month options.

The first two books we are exploring are the Road to Oz, showcased by a golden yellow tonal, and The Scarecrow of Oz, showcased by a denim blue and straw gold variegated colorway.

The yarn and fiber bases available are: Suri Cash Lace, Merino Twist Sock, BFL Twist Sock, and Strong DK. The fiber blends are: Shaniko Silk and American Rambouillet.

The club subscriptions available are: Tonal, Variegated, Combo (Tonal and Variegated), and Sock Set. Sock Sets are only available through the subscription, but there are three options for sock sets – Merino Twist Sock, BFL Twist Sock, and Strong DK.

Subscriptions and monthly listings will be open through February 15th and the first installment will ship by the end of the month.

Inspired by the hit book series and TV show, the Witcher Collection draws inspiration from pivotal scenes and important characters. There are a total of 16 different colorways: eight tonal and eight variegated. The collection will be open for a week, and has a few new bases available. In addition to my standard bases, I have brough in Baby Yak Lace (41% baby alpaca, 13% 18.5-micron Merino, 10% yak, 35% silk, 437 yards/50 grams), Boucle DK (100% Superwash Merino, 240 yards/100 grams), and Yak Sock (70% Superwash Merino, 20% yak, 10% nylon, 437 yards/100 grams).

This spooky and moody sock set box is ready and waiting for you to take a peek! This countdown calendar is based off the Wednesday show and will have a unique sock set to open each week of October, or whenever you want, to countdown through the month. Each week has a mood board, so you can get an idea of what to expect.

The box comes in your choice of two bases, either Super Soft Sock (3-ply, 75% 19.5 SW Merino, 25% nylon 463 yards/100g) or BFL Twist Sock (2-ply, 80% SW BFL, 20% nylon, 400 yards/100g). Boxes are available for preorder now and will ship in September.
