Medeina, designed by Jennifer Wood, features a lacy leaf motif and is knit in our fingering-weight Messa di Voce. This cozy semi-circular shawl is worked top down from the centre out, with the delicate edging worked last.

Have you ever knit one of Nidhi Kansal’s patterns? We’ve been fans of her work for a few years, especially her eye-catching and elegant shawl designs, so we were thrilled when she agreed to create a new pattern with our Messa di Voce yarn!

Ishq (pronounced ishk) is a crescent-shaped shawl, featuring a lace pattern combined with twisted rib, and knit with two skeins of Messa di Voce, a fingering-weight Superwash Merino wool (sample shown in Canneberge).

We love working with designers, and one of our favourite parts of collaborating is getting to know talented and creative people from around the world. So we asked Nidhi to answer a few questions about herself and her designs process, and we’ve posted them as a “meet the designer” interview on our blog. Our Messa di Voce yarn comes in 25 vibrant colours and is hand dyed with slight tonal variations to give a subtle texture to your knitting. We are thrilled to share our latest collaboration with Lisa K Ross (Paper Daisy Creations)!

Lisa has just released Islands in the Stream, which she designed specifically for our Crescendo gradient yarn. The shawl uses one full skein of Molto Crescendo as the main colour and a Crescendo gradient mini-skein set for the contrast colours.
