Come join us on a year of colourful yarn adventures! We’ve had wonderful feedback from our past Colour Wheel Adventures club members, and we’re pleased to open a new round of this club to another group of subscribers.

Are you curious about colour? Have you ever wondered why some colour combinations appeal to you while others might seem too boring or too loud? Join the 2026 edition of our Colour Wheel Adventures yarn club to learn all about colour relationships and how to confidently apply colour theory to your knitting projects, practice a variety of colourwork techniques, and create a unique patchwork blanket.

Our Colour Wheel Adventures yarn club is a year-long guided exploration of the colour wheel and colour theory in a fun and playful way! Each month you’ll receive four 25g mini-skeins (three hand-dyed colours + one natural), two new blanket square patterns to play with, as well as video tutorials.

We want to offer our members an amazing experience including the yarn, mini-course, and community, while keeping it as affordable as possible. The cost to join is just $39 USD per month, and includes free shipping. The deadline to sign up for this year’s club is January 10th.

You can find all the details about what to expect on our website. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Are you ready for a mystery knit-along that’s out of this world? We’re excited to share our new yarn sets for the Cosmic Connections MKAL from Paper Daisy Creations! We decided to take this year’s theme in two different directions, and drew our inspiration from both the macrocosm and the microcosm. Which one is your favourite?

The yarn for these sets is a luxurious Superwash Merino/Cashmere/silk blend. It’s buttery soft, and the silk gives it just a bit of extra shine and lustre. Each yarn set includes two full skeins of the main colour and seven half-skeins for the contrast colour gradient.

These yarn sets include FREE SHIPPING within Canada and the US. We recommend ordering by August 21st to ensure your yarn arrives in time for the start of the Cosmic Connections MKAL on September 3rd.

We have a limited quantity of each set, and you can find them all on our website. Enjoy!

Are you intrigued by knitting techniques such as lace, brioche and steeking, but hesitant to try them on your own? Join our Skill Builder Box yarn club to receive a box of beautiful hand-dyed yarn every two months, explore new knitting techniques with photo and video tutorials, and try out your new skills with exclusive patterns from our featured designers!

For this club we’ve asked some of our favourite designers to create brand-new patterns showcasing the techniques we’ll be exploring:
• Mosaic Knitting with Arella Seaton
• Lace Knitting with Gabrielle Vézina
• Stranded Colourwork with Faye Kennington (UkeeKnits)
• Cables with Fatimah Hinds (DisturbingTheFleece)
• Steeking with Jennifer Beale
• Brioche with Michele Lee Bernstein (PDXknitterati)

These talented designers will use their expertise to create patterns that introduce the featured technique in an approachable way, and illustrate its strengths and possibilities. Whether you’re just jumping in to knitting or you’re a seasoned crafter looking to try something new, we’re sure their designs will inspire you to create beautiful projects.

Club members will receive a new box every other month, containing two packets:
• Part 1 will include enough pre-wound yarn to jump in and start knitting some practice swatches right away, and links to the photo and video tutorials to guide you in your explorations.
• Part 2 will include the link to download the exclusive pattern from our featured designer, and enough hand-dyed yarn to complete the project.

You can sign up for a recurring bi-monthly subscription, or purchase just one box to try it out. For both options, get $5 off your first box with coupon code NEW-SKILLS.

The sign-up deadline for our first box is April 15, and you can find all the details about what to expect on our website. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions!

Are you looking for a light and airy summer crafting project? Our Arietta laceweight is the perfect yarn for vacation knitting: it’s light, luxurious, and with over 1000 yards in each skein you’ll only need to find room in your suitcase for one or two skeins!

Arietta is a hand-dyed wool and silk blend with subtle colour variation that adds texture and depth to lace knitting, We’ve just updated our website with all our Arietta colours but quantities are limited. (Arietta is one of the yarns we only restock seasonally, so this is the last update until next year.)

Since this is one of our favourite yarns for lace knitting, we’re celebrating our shop update with a discount on our Little Luxuries collection, The collection includes three elegant shawl patterns that explore the possibilities of lace knitting and showcase the unique properties of three different yarns — all of which we’ve recently restocked on our website!

The Millicent Capelet, designed by Elizabeth Sullivan, features our Arietta wool/silk blend. It comes in three sizes and can be closed with a clasp to keep it securely on your shoulders.

The Meandering Pathway Shawl, designed by Kira Dulaney, comes in two sizes, which are both worked upward from the delicate lace edging. Knit in our Grazioso silk and linen blend, both the larger shawl and the smaller shawlette can be made from just one skein of yarn!

Medeina, designed by Jennifer Wood, features a lacy leaf motif and is knit in our fingering-weight Messa di Voce. This cozy semi-circular shawl is worked top down from the centre out, with the delicate edging worked last.

Save 25% off the Little Luxuries collection until July 1st, no coupon needed. (All three individual shawl patterns are available at 25% off as well.)

Have you ever knit one of Nidhi Kansal’s patterns? We’ve been fans of her work for a few years, especially her eye-catching and elegant shawl designs, so we were thrilled when she agreed to create a new pattern with our Messa di Voce yarn!

Ishq (pronounced ishk) is a crescent-shaped shawl, featuring a lace pattern combined with twisted rib, and knit with two skeins of Messa di Voce, a fingering-weight Superwash Merino wool (sample shown in Canneberge).

We’re celebrating the pattern release with a discount! Use ISHQ-LOVE and get 15% off any purchase of two or more skeins of Messa di Voce until June 24, 2024.

We love working with designers, and one of our favourite parts of collaborating is getting to know talented and creative people from around the world. So we asked Nidhi to answer a few questions about herself and her designs process, and we’ve posted them as a “meet the designer” interview on our blog. Nidhi is also a talented photographer and has shared some of her beautiful photos. We hope you’ll check out the post and that you enjoy getting to know her a little too!

Our Messa di Voce yarn comes in 25 vibrant colours and is hand dyed with slight tonal variations to give a subtle texture to your knitting. This versatile fingering-weight yarn is 100% Superwash Merino wool and is suitable for anything from gloves to garments to shawls. We have a good selection of our most popular colours available now, but if you don’t see your favourite in stock please feel free to let me know and we’ll make sure it goes to the top of our “to-dye” list!

A silk and linen lacewieght with generous yardage and gorgeous colours — what’s not to love? We’ve just done our annual restock of Grazioso, one of our most popular spring/summer yarns!

This yarn is on the heavier side of lace weight, and works beautifully for shawls and lightweight summer garments. It’s also a perfect natural fibre choice for knitters and crocheters who prefer to avoid wool.

Content: 65% silk/35% linen
Yardage: 115g (4 oz)/approx. 690m (756yds)
