What to stash this week: Hot new spring colors

Erica of Squoosh Fiberarts has introduced six new colors, and they look like excellent spring “transition pieces.” Her Color of the Month for March, Majestic Meadows, is a perfect pinky-green for celebrating the start of spring. Spinners are also in luck as she’s been experimenting with gradients, hand paints and kettle dyes on fiber.

Glasgow-based dyer Sunshine of My Mama Knits has created a collection of 20 different colorways inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. They include, clockwise from top left, All Must Have Prizes, Hatter, Gryphon and Mad Tea Party. Colorways are available in superwash Merino DK and a sock weight blend of 75% wool/25% nylon, in single 100-gram skeins or multi-packs of mini skeins. The Pepperberry Cowl from Mitenae, a new designer and fellow Yarn Hoar on Ravelry who hails from the Western Australian city of Perth, uses 720 yards of fingering-weight yarn in three colors.
