Four skeins of hand-dyed yarn in a soft lavender color with speckles of pink and purple throughout.

I’m thrilled to debut Lanivendole’s colorway celebrating Indie Untangled’s 10th anniversary. Fiori di Lana will be dyed on two of Lanivendole’s special bases: A Chic Blend, a fingering-weight base comprised of 60% Abruzzese wool, 20% mohair and 20% alpaca, and A Stormy Blend DK, made up of 70% Abruzzese wool and 30% alpaca. The yarn is available to preorder through next Sunday, October 13.

Undercover Otter’s October shop update includes a large selection of semisolid colorways on their Neon Neppocalypse DK base, with bright colors and neon nepps. There’s also a generous amount of Squirm Sock and, just in time for fall, Jump Scare DK.

Packets of wool dye and an instruction booklet.

Anne of Red Hen Books has some new craft books and supplies now in her online shop, including a small selection of wool dyes from Wool Tincture Dyes. Each packet can dye up to 200g, so perfect for some sock yarn or creating a special color for colorwork.

Knit or crochet along with Andrea of WoolenWomenFibers this December and make socks and small accessories. This year’s theme is gingerbread elves. The only rules are that it must be a new cast-on. Stash yarn is welcome, though Andrea has some holiday boxes available.

Michelle of WoolNeedleThread doesn’t see a lot of “crisp” fall days in Texas, but she’s embracing autumn with her fun new Spooky Girls project bags

Attention tri-state area fiber folks: Michael of Upland Fiber Co. will be at Do Ewe Knit in Basking Ridge, NJ, tomorrow for a trunk show! This is the perfect opportunity to see and feel Upland’s locally-made yarns in person.
