The Indie Untangled Where We Knit yarn club is getting cozy this year!
If you have ever wanted to knit a blanket but didn’t know where to start, then our 2026 Where We Knit: The Blanket Club is for you! This is because we have taken all of the guesswork out of knitting a blanket and have chosen the pattern for you. Plus, and this is probably the best part, we have teamed up with four talented indie dyers to bring you hand-dyed skeins to create your cozy blanket!
I have been getting several questions on social media about The Blanket Club, so today I thought I would answer those questions, so you can see if the club is right for you!
What is the Where We Knit: The Blanket Club?
The Where We Knit: The Blanket Club is a year-long club where you can knit a cozy blanket at your own pace!
Who is the club for?
Everyone! If you love knitting or have always wanted to try, this club is perfect for you.
What is included in The Blanket Club?
So much! When you sign up for The Blanket Club, you receive the following:
- A digital copy of the blanket pattern.
- Each quarter, you’ll receive four 25g hand-dyed mini skeins plus two 100g undyed skeins, enough to complete one quilt-inspired motif, with the goal of finishing a large lap blanket by the end of the year.
- Access to Zoom stitching sessions that we will be hosting to keep you on track!
- Club members receive 15% off most Indie Untangled purchases during 2026.
NOTE: You will need to provide some of your own supplies, like knitting needles, scissors, etc., since we are unable to send those supplies to you. We will discuss this more in emails and in our Zoom stitching sessions when you sign up to join the club.
How does the club work?
Once you sign up, you will start receiving emails from us about the club regarding Zoom stitching session dates, important information, etc. Then, in February, you will receive your digital pattern and your first shipment of skiens. From there, you will keep receiving shipments of new skeins for your blanket in May, August, and November.
What pattern is the blanket for 2026?
For 2026, we are knitting Laura Penrose’s Stella Quilt Blanket! We chose this pattern because it not only looks beautiful, but it’s a great way to showcase the gorgeous skeins of yarn we will be sending you! Plus, the motifs can be knitted modularly or seamed, depending on your preferred approach. So, there are options no matter your knitting skill level!
What type of yarn will be used to make the blanket?
For our 2026 blanket, we are using non-Superwash Shaniko wool, produced by a group of U.S. farms and ranches committed to high standards of traceability, animal and worker welfare, and responsible land management.
What about the indie dyers? Who are they?
As I mentioned before, we’re partnering with four talented indie dyers to bring you the best quality yarn for your knit blanket! Below is who we are partnering with and the month you will receive their yarn!
