Our newest Outlander-inspired pattern is out: the Inverness Shrug by Stefanie Goodwin-Ritter! Inspired by the detachable sleeves worn by Claire in the Outlander TV series, this great looking shrug will take the chill off your shoulders and arms and never slip or fall like a shawl. It’s knit in our Himalayan Trail yarn, a yak and merino blend which really lets the Celtic-style cables take center stage.

Retailing for up to $131.00, you’ll save over 15% when you purchase the yarn and pattern together in this convenient kit. Visit www.bijoubasinranch.com to select your hand-dyed Outlandish colorway to knit yours today!

JPFA is happy to introduce our newest base. A single ply 100% superwash Merino. Feels like silk and is washable. Come try out our Seaside Singles in Up A Creek or Electric Rainbow. Sock Blanks are here to stay, we are carrying a double strand sock blank for those of you who need identical socks! Check them out here in “Watermelon”

Charleston Surf combines stockinette stitch and short rows reflecting ocean waves as they splash onto the beach. A hybrid of triangular and crescent shawls, the shaping is an intentional feature so as to stay on without muss and fuss or the need of a shawl pin. Wear it draped over your shoulders or with one end thrown around your neck as you take to the sandy shores. This pattern is a great opportunity for testing different short row methods and discovering your favorite!

For the touching backstory, check out the full write-up on the website.

Happy Friday! Our next Outlander-inspired project kit is hot off the presses: the Beauchamp Gloves by Christine Marie Chen! Channel your inner Claire Beauchamp with these stylish fingerless gloves knit with just one skein of our Lhasa Wilderness yarn. This is the fourth of six Outlander-inspired patterns we’re releasing to celebrate the return of the Outlander TV series to the Starz network this weekend. When you purchase the yarn & pattern together, you’ll save over 15% with our exclusive project kit!

I’m so pleased to announce the release of Tyrion’s Gift, the fourth shawl patten in my Game of Thrones inspired series.

Tyrion’s Gift is a top down triangle shawl that is deceptively easy to knit. With resting rows on the wrong side, it’s a perfect project to take to knit group or work on while you watch the Game of Thrones Season 4 Premier. This tribute to Tyrion and his lady friend Shae is knit up in Miss Babs Tarte, in the Volcanic Eruption colorway. Tarte has a wonderful hand and is a generous 500 yard skein. Miss Babs dyed some up just in time for the pattern release and you can purchase directly from her site: missbabs.com

A huge thank you goes to my test knitters Margi and Helen who whipped through this pattern in no time and gave it raving reviews!

Like most couples, in the beginning Tyrion and Shae were truly in love. They were both quite happy until Tyrion’s father forced him to marry another woman.

Shae refused to leave Tyrion, even at the risk of her own safety. Tyrion was forced to resort to sending her away in a rather brisk fashion. As a parting gift to show how much he cared for her, Trion commissioned a shawl in deep reds of the Lannister colors.

A single, simple gift to keep Shae warm was what Tyrion intended to give to Shae. The betrayal that he got in return was most unexpected.

I have a few things to list again probably late Friday evening, so if there’s nothing to strike your fancy now be sure to check back again over the weekend!

I’ve been thinking over how to do a different club for the year and I decided that hand dyeing some gradient or ombre sock blanks would be a great way to have a fun club! I was thinking of calling it Gradients and Ombres from A to Z, when I remembered an alphabet book by Maurice Sendak called Alligators All Around. Mashing that up, I got Gradients and Ombres All Around.

You can buy a one month trial, a 3 month, 6 month or 12 month membership.
Subscribers can choose a one repeat, two repeat or four repeat pattern (four repeats is best for socks for people with small feet, one for shawls and two is pretty flexible.) The yarns are Terra Sock and Glitz. They are both superwash merino nylon blends, but Glitz gets some sparkle in it.

Aureed is a basic raglan sleeved cardigan with a lace panel on the back. The cardigan is seamlessly constructed from top-down. Fronts are shaped with short-rows. Stitches for neck band and front borders are picked up and knitted when finishing. Knitted in fingering weight yarn, it is perfect summer cardigan or stylish for layered outfits for mild weather.

Hi everyone! I’m Katie, one of the dyers behind Never Enough Thyme. We sell hand-dyed yarn and fiber. Some of our most popular products are our heel/toe sock sets, which include a full sized skein of sock yarn with a matching mini skein. The mini skein has enough yarn to knit the heels, toes, and cuffs of a pair of socks. We have also recently started selling mini skein sets which have enough yarn to knit a shawl, a pair of socks, or can be used with other yarn in a larger project.

If we are sold out of one of our colorways, or you are looking for a colorway on one of our other bases, be sure to contact us! We are always happy to do custom orders.
