Inside your Advent calendar box, you’ll find 24 individually wrapped and sealed one-of-a-kind (OOAK) 20 gram DK weight mini-skeins. Each mini-skein package is labeled with the day’s date on which it should be opened. On the 25th day (Christmas) you’ll finally open a full 100 gram D- weight skein.
Each color you discover within the box has been inspired by a constellation in our Night Sky. Packaged with each mini skein, you’ll uncover the story of the constellation that inspired the unique color you’ve opened that day. Along the way, you’ll also unwrap notions, original artwork, and treats that are sure to make your December EXTRA sweet.

This super-soft, squishy 2ply bulky-weight base is perfect for quick knit and fast crochet projects. The new base is made up of 100% fine Superwash wool sourced from Peru. Bad Lux Designs colors strike with intensity on this bulky beauty. The scrumptious feeling of the fine Merino wool is a dream to work with. Slowly but surely, each standard Bad Lux Designs color is getting added to the shop and will be restocked regularly. When it came time to name my latest color collection, the colors are a dreamy, deep escape into romantic notions so naturally, my brain bubbled the word “Romantisch” to the surface. When I first learned this German word, I would roll the R a little, drop “mAN” for a more guttural “MAHn,” and then end in a whispering “tisch.” It felt like a secret endeavor. The word promised an escape into velvety, soft whispers from a lover.
