Peppermint Treat limited edition project bag features hot cocoa and peppermint themed fabric featured on a MidMitten Designs Medium Vinyl Front project bag and on the coordinating Yarn Snuggler (c). The perfect theme for your winter knitting projects comes with a peppermint candy zipper charm and surprise treats — one for your hard working hands and a sweet treat that fits the peppermint and chocolate theme. Project bag measures about 11” wide, 9” tall and 3.5” wide at the bottom. More than large enough for 2-3 skein projects. The Yarn Snuggler will keep up to 100 grams of any thickness of yarn under control, clean and tidy in your project bag.

MidMitten Designs has teamed up with knitting friend Lisa Adcock of Splash of Color Yarns to create a special treat for knitters.

The limited-edition kit includes a medium project bag from MidMitten Designs featuring the popular vinyl window that lets you see what’s inside.

The yarn, dyed to coordinate with the yarn balls in the fabric, consists of five mini skeins, each 92 yards for a total of 460 yards of 80% Merino and 20% nylon. Color names are Peppermint Fusion, Wintergreen, Fruitcake, Ribbon Candy and Candy Cane — just to get you in the spirit.

Also included is a list of pattern options for cowls, hats, socks, shawls and other accessories — all available through Ravelry. The perfect gift for a knitter (or yourself!) there are limited quantities available through the Splash of Color Yarns Etsy shop.

The holidays are coming — don’t you deserve a treat??

Tired of rummaging through project bags and opening them all, just to find a specific WIP? MidMitten Designs’ “Whatcha’ Making?” project bags, with “windows” on the front, make it super easy to see what’s inside.

Made in several sizes by a persnickety home economist, these bags are as good looking on the inside as they are on the outside. Zippers have everything that could catch removed and covered with fabric. All interior seams are bound with bias tape or serged to prevent raveling and keep your projects safe. The XL project bag, with seven (!) interior slip pockets, is perfectly sized for sweaters and afghans and has a vinyl pocket on the front of the bag that’s perfect for keeping the pattern visible while you knit (and the zipper on the pocket keeps all the notions from escaping).
