Michelle of Kokon collaborated with designer Eri Shimizu on two colorways — a deep blue and a blue speckle — for the Indie Untangled Where We Knit Yarn Club. Eri’s Hamono-Edamono Mittens, named after the old Japanese words meaning leaves and branches, are now available to purchase on Ravelry and I’m doing a limited preorder of Michelle’s yarn from Indie Untangled.
The leaves are inspired by the Netherlands where Kokon is located and the branches by Japan where Eri lives. The DK-weight pattern comes with two different mitt styles, and with one 50g skein of each color you can knit a matching pair or one of each pattern.

Do you like yarn? Do you like to read? Then Carolyn and Michelle’s newest subscription box is for you! The quarterly Spin Me a Yarn Literary Societyis a cross between a yarn club and a book club. Each shipment includes yarn, related goodies and an invite to a Zoom book discussion.

The Dyeing Wishes Yarn Co. Colorway of the Month for December is Basic Birch. You can preorder it starting at 7 p.m. Eastern tonight through next Thursday, December 7 at 7 p.m. Eastern on a variety of bases.

The second installment of the 2024 Indie Untangled Where We Knit Yarn Club will bring together three creative folks: Bea of Wooldreamers, Jenny of 316 Dye Studio and Moody Knitter Design.
Nature is an eternal muse, a wellspring of creativity that never runs dry for this creative team, which spans Spain, Kansas and Italy. The hydrangea, with its endless range of shades and captivating shape, symbolizes the gratitude, understanding and connection to nature that Bea, Jenny and Stella want to express in their collaboration.
For the club, each team will collaborate on an exclusive colorway and an accompanying accessory design inspired by their favorite spots to whip out their WIPs. Sign up by December 31 to join us! It also makes a great gift to enjoy throughout the year.

Erica of Wild Violet Fibers has released all the colors in her Into the Woods collection, which also includes the Into the Woods Beanie pattern. The semisolid and variegated colorways in the collection are inspired by the seasonal change of the forest’s palette, while the lace-knit beanie is inspired by walks through the woods.

Michelle of WoolNeedleThread has created a new Holiday Collection of winter-themed project bags, handbags and stitch markers. Some are made with hard-to-find prints imported from Germany and feature hand beading. All have interior pockets, waxed bases and handy rings to hold your small tools and stitch markers.

Flora Adora Fibers Peaceful Worsted is ideal for those last-minute holiday gifts, including the Elisbeth headband, pictured here. The woolen-spun is made with American-grown Rambouillet and Texas mohair, and Sharon naturally dyes it in soft shades.

Crystal Hiatt’s latest design, the Spiced Cider scarf, is the perfect winter knit for yourself or someone special. It uses around 500 yards of Aran/heavy worsted-weight yarn and a US9 needle and filled with satisfyingly simple cables.

Undercover Otter has just had an update of their unique NeverMoor base. It’s a fingering-weight blend of 60% Exmoor Blueface, 20% Corriedale, 10% Devon Zwartbles and 10% nylon with strength, shine, softness and springiness, as well as depth to the bright colors.

If you’re looking for an easy seasonal project and/or to master sock knitting, join Jessica of Double the Stitches for a free four-day challenge with the Tiny Treasures Stocking.

Trisha of Yarn Jam has added four new winter colors to her shop as well as three new organic, non-Superwash bases made with extrafine Merino — and these new bases are 20% off through December 8.

Amy’s Trinket Shop is filled with plenty of gifts for the fiber artists in your life, including hand-dyed yarn, stitch marker sets, stitch stoppers, project bags and moth-deterring linen sprays.
