the 37th Lambtown Festival is coming up in a couple of weeks, on October 7 and 8. It takes place in Dixon, California, which is about halfway between the Bay Area and Sacramento in the heart of wine country (or is it wool country?). A bus will travel from San Francisco and Oakland on the 8th for folks who don’t want to drive or who are flying in from out of town.

Carolyn and Michelle of Olive & Two Ewe Studios are greeting the season with their new colorway, Bewitched. It has shades of scarlet, fuchsia, amber, chocolate, persimmon and purple.

Michelle of Crafty Flutterby Creations has added Dependable Dogs and Crafty Cats to her menagerie of cedar end minders, which you can use to wrap yarn ends and prevent tangling.

Trisha of Yarn Jam has added new project bags in three different sizes to her site. Each has a handle, a drawstring and five side pockets, and they’re made of medium-weight woven fabrics.

Michelle of WoolNeedleThread has been creating project bags in new fall prints, some with repurposed fabrics that have been rescued from the landfill. They’ll be available to her email subscribers on Sunday.
