I’m thrilled to debut the new colors of the Harris Sling bag! This bag is a special collaboration between Indie Untangled and Adabrock Weaving Company, located on the Isle of Lewis, in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides. They are handmade, right down to the leather straps, by Chrissie of Pied Beauty Studios, my talented neighbor in Brooklyn. And, keeping it in the fiber community, the yarn ball tags inside are from Katrinkles!

The new colors are: Winter Moor, the gorgeous red (only two left!); Mussel, a sophisticated navy; and Sea Glass, a perfectly-named mix of green and blue. They join Luskentyre, a cheerful teal that matches the Indie Untangled colors perfectly; Heather, a bright purple; and Lichen, a stunning green that is my current everyday bag (well, unless I bring out the new red!).

If these catch your eye, act fast! There’s a long process involved in making them, from the weaving of the tweed to attaching the hand-cut straps, so it will take a while to restock.

Three skeins of yarn in red, green, blue, and brown.

Shelly of Daisy Stitch Co is all set for December and has debuted her holiday colorways. They include a self-striping skein named Cozy Christmas, which comes as a single skein and a sock set with heel and toe minis. There’s also the Home for the Holidays and Candy Cane collections, comprised of one variegated colorway and five coordinating semisolids. The semisolids are available in full as well as mini skeins and all are dyed on 75/25 Superwash Merino/nylon fingering-weight yarn.
