Showing Kettle Yarn Co.

I’ve had spring on the mind lately while developing new hues of Islington for the coming months, and I’ve come up with a new range of hues which I realised are perfect for Saturday’s love up … and are in the shop update this week!

There is a good mix of updated stock, new colours and other bits for fun as well, so check in at 5pm GMT this Friday Feb 13th on the new website shop to see what is available!

Also, if anyone is looking for last minute Valentine’s Day gifts, or wanting to forward some hints to a significant other, I also have gift certificates available as downloads in store!

Happy Valentines Day, everyone!

Nothing says “new year” like new spring colours so I’ve created a few more shades to add to the opulent BEYUL — yak/silk/Merino blend. The full range of colours are now available in shop!

The full range will be previewed in the flesh at the upcoming fibre festival Unravel… and if you are in France for l’Aiguille en Fête 2015, you can also fondle the blend at L’OisiveThé’s booth! Hope to see some of you there! 😉

The new website is finally ready and up at kettleyarnco.co.uk and to celebrate an end to the tedium of coding and the ramp up to the holiday season I am offering 15% off all yarns in the new shop this weekend!

Two days only – the sale starts Saturday Nov 8th at 9am GMT and ends at 5pm GMT Sunday the 9th.

Enter coupon code newsite15 at checkout
*the discount excludes sale items and is valid on the new shop only*

Visit the new website at KettleYarnCo.co.uk today!

The coupon is valid for all orders over £20 – only in the new shop at Kettleyarnco.co.uk.

I will be posting a number of blends on the blue end of the colour spectrum tomorrow! A little preview for you above!

clockwise from left: Wimbledon Sport in new colourway After Eight, Islington fingering in L’heure Bleue and Old Smoke, more Wimbledon Sport in an ooak colourway, a new Heath fingering hue called Dungaree Marl, and finally more Islington fingering in Blighty grey.

The shop update is this Friday October 17th at 5pm GMT- check your local time on the Kettle Yarn Co. Ravelry group!

A little something for those of you not on the way to Unwind or Fibre East this month!

I’ve released my Brownlow Wristwarmers a bit early and am offering the pattern free with purchase of the TWIST and HEATH fingering skeins needed for the pattern in the Etsy shop until the end of July.

The blends will be at both shows if anyone is hoping to pick colours in the flesh and the pattern will be free with purchase at the shows as well.

The pattern is available now on Ravelry!

I feel like I’ve been waiting *forever* to announce this!

Knit Now has just released their June issue – 36 – so you can now get your sock-knitting fix with the beautiful Chalcot Sock pattern designed by Anita Grahn in my lofty TWIST – 100% superwash British Bluefaced Leicester. These beauties feature braids on both sides and my TWIST’s long staple, hardwearing fibre is perfect for spongy, long-wearing socks.

To celebrate the release, I’ve dyed up many hues in the blend, along with more of the Macho Mint colour used in the sample…all will go on sale in the shop update this Friday, June 27th at 5 p.m. GMT.

Join us then!

There were two new colourways in WIMBLEDON Sport 100% SW Merino added to the shop in Friday’s update — Blue Pictsies and Fenland.

As you can see in my mocked-up image, the hues are a perfect pairing for Sarah Hurwitz’s Creamsicle (from the summer issue of Pom Pom Quarterly) if someone is after something on the cooler side of the colour wheel for their beautiful, bobbly cardi!

The skeins are now in shop.
