Showing Kettle Yarn Co.

All I Want is a gorgeous two colour shawl from Joji Locatelli’s new Favourite Things collection of grey-knit goodness.

This shawl is incredibly quick to knit and warm to wear. Its easy lace patterns grow organically without any complex stitches.

You can make a monochromatic version with 3 skeins of the same colour of Waltham Aran or play with color-blocking.

To make it easy I’ve created a kit listing for you to buy the yarn on the shop.

This kit contains 3 skeins of thick, juicy Waltham Aran for the shawl pictured in the sample – pattern sold separately through Joji:
1 x Peaky Blinder – charcoal
2 x Graveney – light grey

each skein 100g= 166 m • 182 y

Shop update today brings more new tempting colour your way! I’ve a new deep sea teal Islington DK (Siren Call), blood red Beyul lace (Sangre) and 2 new colours in Wesminster — Blue Jean and Sage.

Tons up updated colours in all weights today as well as Fibre East is quickly approaching at the end of July and I’ve been dyeing up a storm in preparation, developing new hues and restocking old favs.

Above is a smattering of what is available and now in shop!

Making gift giving for knitters simple, I’ve created some guaranteed to thrill gift kits.

Containing one handmade Kettle Yarn Co. Gin & Tonic project bag, a project bag tag to keep projects safe and a 100g skein of bouncy, all rounder Twist fingering – 100% British Bluefaced Leicester yarn, perfect for socks, shawls or scarves.

Choose from five different co-ordinating colours for your kit and for an even more jaw-dropping gift, upgrade the kit with a fantastic handmade, fair trade white brass Ewe shawl pin for the ultimate knitter’s gift!

Every year I hear from people struggling to buy gifts for the makers in their lives and thought I’d put together a small series of posts to help you shop for friends and to help non-knitters pick gifts for their loved ones!

Those of you not already on my mailing list can download the Part 1 – under £30 guide – pdf here.

You can forward this pdf to loved ones with the included links or print out the guide to strategically leave around the house as a not-so-subtle hint! ;-P

Happy giving and receiving all. xo

A little over a year ago I released my first garment pattern Brynja in Pom Pom Quarterly’s lovely Issue 11: Winter 2014.

I am happy to say that I am now able to re-release the pattern as a single pattern download. I am also offering 15% off 6 or more skeins of my Waltham Aran to knit the jumper until the end of November. This works out to at least a skein for free in most sizes! Just enter code BRYNJA at checkout to activate the discount.

Get both the pattern and yarn in the shop while supplies last.
