The Perfect Gift for Knitters

Love to knit? Love showing off your passion for knitting to the world? Love cute and comfy shoes?

If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, this item is for you!

This past summer a friend of mine introduced me to the idea of making dyed canvas shoes. I decided I NEEDED a pair with knit stitches on it, since so much of my life revolves around knitting. These photos are of that pair, and let me say they are super comfy and have held up very well.

I have been wearing my special shoes to various knit themed events and everyone is always in awe of them. So much that I finally decided to offer them to other knitters like myself, completely custom made for you! You pick your size and color and I do the dying and drawing! The end result is something I know you will love wearing again and again!

Stay tuned because I plan to start making more items with knit stitches drawn on them – It’s so much fun!

Gorgeous Beaded Stitch Markers

A few years ago I dabbled a bit into making beaded stitch markers as a fundraiser for my local Relay For Life event. I had a huge stash of beads my Aunt had brought me back from France and I needed to use some of them up. I found myself searching the internet for the best way to make markers and thus “Hope Markers” were born.

I haven’t sold markers as a fundraiser for over a year now, and I was beginning to miss making them. I still had tons of beads and wire, so why not? I spent a few days over my holiday making the markers you will find in my shop. All are completely unique, made with nylon coated wire and beads from both France and here in the USA. They are snag free, in that they are held together with crimp beads and a drop of super glue.

Although I am not donating the proceeds to Relay For Life, I hope you will consider buying my markers as a personal donation to my artistic endeavors. As an artist, I explore knitting and the stitches within my work (Something you will see in my prints and cards also on my shop) and am currently in an unpaid internship where my main focus is to make art. All proceeds from my Etsy shop go to supporting myself during this time.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my shop.

Stocking Stuffers

As a new vendor to Indie Untangled, I hope you will take the time to look through my shop. My greeting cards would make great stocking stuffers for any fiber enthusiast, and my art prints are the perfect addition to any knitter’s (or art fan’s) home.

Within all my pieces, I’m interested in knitting and art. I like to recreate imaginary worlds within my art using knitted forms. I love the way the knitting stitches look and hope to capture this in my works.

All of my greeting cards are 100% handmade, with a beautiful watercolor image on the front. All the images represent some sort of knit stitch, either stockinette or garter, and are made with acid free materials.
