Last May, attendees of Maryland Sheep & Wool had the opportunity to attend an indie pop-up organized by Mary, the dyer behind 29 Bridges Studio and Valerie of Knitting Fairy Godmother. This year, Yarncentrick is popping up again, on Friday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a new venue in Fredrick, Maryland. This one-day event will feature more than 30 indie dyers, fiber artists, and small creative businesses in a relaxed, intimate setting. The event is indoors, fully accessible with plenty of paved parking, ​​​​​​​​​and tickets are timed to avoid overcrowding. Here’s a peek at some of the vendors. Yarncentrick is back for its second year on Friday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Frederick, Maryland. May weather in Maryland is notoriously wet so we’ve moved the location to Frederick in an indoor space. More than 30 indie dyers, bag makers and creatives, including several Indie Untangled online marketplace and show vendors that you may already be familiar with, will come together in a fully accessible space with plenty of paved parking. The event is being organized by Mary of 29 Bridges Studio and Valerie, also known as the Knitting Fairy Godmother. Tickets range in price from $5-$20 and are timed to avoid overcrowding.
